Energies are the Building Blocks of Nature
I wish you could see what I see when I visit a home or
office. Even when I meet people, I feel the energies present. More like
sensing than actually ‘visually’ seeing, energy wishes to be known, wishes to
be used, wishes to be expressed…supportive and challenging….creative and
destructive….contracting and expanding…active and passive…in all its forms,
energy offers us power. Energy is the building blocks of nature.
Imagine if you will, swirls of energy with moods all their own, flowing like the colors of a rainbow… merging…. highlighting…. gracing… interacting with one another, interacting with us, bringing their own particular color to influence all within their presence. Dancing and playing within any space, be that of a home, an office or medical building, or a rustic cabin in nature, energy invites us to partake of its particular unique gift of beauty. Especially in the wild places of nature, energy offers us experience. We now know human beings carry energy which can be identified through Kirlian photography. Each color signifies a particular energy present with that individual, in that moment, qualities which can influence and/or be perceived by those around us, even if we do not readily see these patterns.
San Francisco Bay area Psychiatrist and author, Ernest
F. Pecci, M.D. writes, “Critical thinking has succeeded in creating a
consensus reality of a very finite segment of our world based upon physical
perceptions. But, it is the subliminal sensations created by the antenna
system within our brain, and yes, our hearts that is constantly feeding us the
information of Truth. To find Truth we must look, not just outside of
ourselves, but more concentratedly within.” Humans carry the ability to give
off and pick up energy around us. He Energy is information. And we have access to it, built into our very bodies. It offers us the tools with which to experience everything in this earth, in whatever place or with whomever we may find ourselves. The more we recognize energy outside of us, the more we might discover the same or different energy within us. Interestingly, like energy attracts like energy. If we wish to create a more balanced way of living, it serves us all well to notice how people and places impact our state of being. Some individuals may see or sense energy more easily than others, however, we all have access to the same building blocks of nature if we but notice. William Tiller, Emeritus Professor Stanford University, writes in his book Science and Human Transformation, “An essential aspect concerning the notion of Qi involves the human interaction with one’s environment.” Within every place, energy also resides there, inviting us to partake of the influence it offers us…all of us, whether we know it or not, helping us feel a certain way. Within the lobby of an elegant hotel or a small neighborhood restaurant or any room we might imagine, energy is gathered to offer you its message. When that energy is supported by design, we benefit more easily from that identified energy we wish to harness. The key is to know what energy supports you. How do you know? Does the energy near you sit quiet and still like a wise old man deep in contemplation, or does it feel more like a puppy, helping you to play and socialize? Where do you go when you want down time from your hectic life….When you want to experience the inspiration of art or time rejuvenating in nature? Or do you wish to enjoy the stimulation of a city with excitement and shopping? What feeds you? Often we need different forms of energy in order to maintain balance in our lives, and to help us to not become over identified with only one type of overriding energy. With only one type of energy in our lives, we can become like a Cyclopes…one-eyed and fanatically. We need balance. Time may helps us to confront that balance, because just like the seasons, energy will shift in strength. Time may shift energy to come like a thunderclap waiting to awakening our desire to cross new thresholds. Or it may reside almost imperceptibly like in a small cabin by a softly babbling brook inviting us to create. Bright lights of the city may stimulate us to go out and paint the town red, or wear us down into total burn out. Golden rays of sun warm us as we amble along sage scented paths into sacred desert solitude. Deep energy like the color navy blue may be inviting us to slow down and dream a new life as we settle into the warm grass by a still lake in the shade of a tree. Or we might become indolent. How does the energy of your space affect you? How do you affect it? Do you feel a resonance in your home? What can you do to find that alignment so you can have support also. It is there for you, when you are ready to notice. I sense the joy, the struggles, the sadness, the power of energy which may approach me shyly in a home, like a fawn at the edge of some ancient forest, curious and wishing to connect. Or, it is sometimes like a tiger, practically sitting on my chest. I ask what that energy wants me to know. Sometimes, when I describe the images, colors, and feelings that I sense, the owners know exactly what I am referring to. It just took someone putting it all into words to bring the validation for the energy present there.
Often, in the n Not good or bad, except in how it is used, allow yourself to listen to your body and sense how you feel everywhere you go. Notice how your body feels. Notice how energy is power awaiting you to notice. How will energy influence you?
